Tucked away on the cobbles of Church Street in Honley, Indy House is a striking example of how heritage architecture can be given a new lease of life. NWDI was brought on board to shape a brand identity that matched the building’s charm and future purpose.
Soon to house a series of premium office spaces and a co-working hub, the vision was to create something refined yet approachable — a calm, confident brand that honours the building’s story while looking ahead.
From the start, this project was rooted in collaboration. Drawing on input from the client and their interior designer, we gained a deep understanding of the vision for the space – one that avoided anything overly bright or corporate, in favour of a neutral, paired-back aesthetic that felt sympathetic to the building’s history.
We took this insight and translated it into two initial identity routes. When it came time to present, the first concept struck a chord right away. It captured everything the team was looking for – subtlety, elegance, and a sense of place. With only a few minor refinements, we moved forward confidently into rollout.

The final identity reflects the quiet confidence of Indy House. It honours the building’s story while giving it a fresh, professional edge, perfectly suited to freelancers, small businesses and teams seeking a unique place to work.
We’re proud to have played a role in bringing this thoughtful, design-led workspace to life, and we’re excited to see how Indy House supports the growth of local businesses in and around Honley.
