I’m Nick Woodhead, founder of NWDI, an independent design studio based in Honley, just outside Huddersfield.

With over 25 years’ experience in the industry, I work with businesses, charities and organisations to create bold, effective branding and graphic design that gets noticed for all the right reasons. After this, you’ll receive a clear proposal outlining the scope, costs, and what you can expect.

Stage 2

Research & Insight
We dive deep into your market, audience, and competitors. This stage is all about uncovering what makes your business tick and how your brand can stand out.

You’ll benefit from years of industry experience, strategic thinking, and a clear creative direction rooted in real insight.

Stage 3

Creative Development
Here’s where ideas begin to take shape. Based on everything we’ve uncovered, we explore how your brand should look, feel, and sound from values and positioning to personality and tone of voice.

For websites, this is where digital direction and UX strategy come into play.

Stage 4

Design & Refinement
You’ll receive initial design concepts or page layouts, depending on the project. This is a collaborative stage where we refine and adjust based on your feedback making sure every detail feels just right.

We focus on clarity, consistency, and ensuring the visuals support your wider goals.

Stage 5

Delivery & Launch
Once you’re happy and everything’s signed off, we prepare and supply your final assets logos, brand guidelines, web files, or marketing materials ready for launch.

We make sure your brand is delivered to the highest standards and works beautifully across print, digital, and everything in between.
