Rebranding Meltham-Based Curated Jiu-Jitsu Academy

NWDI recently had the opportunity to rebrand Meltham's established Jiu-Jitsu Academy, transitioning them from Gracie Barra to Curated Jiu-Jitsu Academy. Our goal was to create a modern and distinctive identity that would reflect their evolution while maintaining the professionalism and credibility they’re known for.

We developed a clean, contemporary logo featuring a badge design that integrates seamlessly with their broader visual system. For typography, we carefully selected a combination of bold, impactful fonts for social media and promotional materials, paired with a more delicate, readable typeface for smaller formats. This ensures consistency across all platforms, whether in print or online.

The colour palette was curated in collaboration with the client, reflecting their preferences while enhancing the brand’s visual appeal. To ensure cohesive application, we provided an identity style guide detailing the use of the logo, typography, and colour schemes. This guide serves as a blueprint for maintaining brand consistency moving forward.

In partnership with Zest for Print, we implemented the new branding across physical touchpoints, including signage and wayfinding. This collaboration brought a professional finish to the academy’s public presence, giving them a polished look that ensures they stand out in the local community.

Through our comprehensive approach, Curated Jiu-Jitsu now boasts an identity that is both visually striking and strategically sound, perfectly suited to their ambitions for growth and success.
