Rebrand from Zen-Zero to Neon Grid

We recently rebranded the digital marketing agency Zen Zero, based in Halifax and the United States, into Neon Grid. Our collaboration began with a discussion about the meaning behind the new name and the inspirations that motivated the team. We discovered a shared passion for computer games and various films, which served as the creative spark for our initial design concepts.

To develop the new identity, I researched neon themes from the 1980s, drawing inspiration from films such as Tron and Blade Runner, as well as games like Flashback and Cyberpunk. We wanted to capture a bold, futuristic feel with bright colours and a graphic device that would grab attention and give the brand a distinctive edge.

We presented two design directions to the team. After reviewing the initial concepts, we combined elements from both to create a cohesive new identity. Alongside logos and graphic devices, NWDI also produced a branded slide deck, social media assets, and source files with ready-made templates. This allowed the team to easily customise materials using the new colour palette and typeface.

The project was delivered on time and on budget, supplying Neon Grid with user-friendly assets, graphics, logos, and devices that ensure maximum impact at events and on social media channels.
